Ryan Church is the founder and CEO of BiomeRenewables, a company that is driven by biomimetic innovation – solving problems by studying how nature has solved them. Biomimicry is not easy, or obvious, but it has produced some remarkable designs, including velcro and the beak of the bullet train.
